Greetings Ya'll

Welcome to my blog. I've frowned on these things for years, but have recently become a fan. I love how there are sites on the web that offer blogging basics to teach the novice how to get more hits and therefore more people reading your blog. It's true that I found my first blog at http://livingproofministries.com and now I'm hooked!

Tonight, I'm watching the 2007 Dubai Tennis Championship match between Roger Federer and Mikhail Youzhny on the Tennis Channel. Federer is a machine - even his peers are saying he's the greatest player of all time. I miss Andre.

Ten things you might want to know about me:
10) I'm a dog person. I'm an animal lover in general. It can't be helped. I have 2 boxers named Truman and Lilly. I don't have kids, so you can imagine how spoiled they are.
9) I stinkin' love tennis. I'm not that good, but I'd play every day if I could.
8) I've worked at the same job for the last 15 years. I'm just as surprised as you are.
7) I'm violently allergic to cats and Kentucky Blue grass. When I had my allergy test, the welt on my arm swelled up so large that the doctor administering the test called in his peers because nobody had seen anything like that before.
6) I'm a computer geek. Used to be really in to open source and all things related, but corporate america has sucked the life right out of me. For the last 5 years, it's been all I can do to come home and check email. Perhaps I'm finally coming out of the dark.
5) I also like to run and I'm considering a triathalon in the next year. The swimming concerns me.
4) My second career is as an independent consultant for a women's clothing designer.
3) I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of a girlie girl. I love all things to do with clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses and accessories in general. When I was 10 years old, I cut out Scotch tape in the shape of fingernails and taped them to my own to make it look like I had long nails. It's in the DNA.
2) I'm an early riser getting up most mornings by 7 A.M. at the latest. Kinda ticks me off when I can't even sleep in on the weekends.
1) I'm a Christian. I was baptized when I was 15 years old, but lost my faith somewhere around 19 or 20. After a VERY difficult 10 years or so, I finally figured out that my Lord and Savior had captured my heart and wouldn't let go. If you don't know Jesus, you are missing out on the most fulfilling relationship there is. I urge you to give him a chance. Let Love prevail.

Love to all.
